Discus thrower styled after an ancient Greek coin of the island Kos 460 b.C. Rev. 4-lined legend in Greek language (International Olympic Games in Athens transl.). It was given by the Hellenic Olympic Committee only to the participating athletes. Unc with original loop, ring and its blue/white ribbon (Similar medal, but in bronze, was given also to the officials).As pictured in the 1906 Official Report page 133.
