This particular ring was presented to a top level front office executive.  I will disclose who at close of auction.  This is the very same ring awarded to Kobe, Shaq, Coah Phil Jackson, and the rest of the 2002 NBA Champs.   Also, note that the presentation box is not included.   One gent’s 14Kt. yellow gold, Los Angeles Lakers genuine championship ring. The ring is the official ring approved and given by the team to represent the 2002 NBA Championship. The ring weighs approximately 50 dwt. On the top of the ring there are the words “Lakers World Champions”. There are fourteen (14) brilliant cut diamonds in the bezel. The weight of these diamonds is approximately .70 carat total weight. There are (61) yellow diamonds set in a yellow gold panel, which weigh approximately .73 ct total weight. There is one (1) trillion cut genuine amethyst, which weighs approximately 1.50 carat. The bezel around this triangular-shaped stone has the words Back, Back, Back cut out on each side of the triangle. There are also three (3) trillion cut genuine diamonds, all bezel set. These stone weigh approximately .75 carat total weight. All white diamonds are ‘G’ color and ‘VS-2’ clarity using the criteria established by the Gemological Institute of America grading system. Letter of Authenticity by Masters of Design available, and will be included with delivery of the ring.   On the side of the ring is the official logo of the Lakers and the year 2002. The words ‘SLAM DUNK’ are also on this side. In addition there is a microphone with the name ‘Chick’ on it. This is a memorial to Chick Hearn, the legendary announcer of the Los Angeles Lakers. The other side of the ring contains the NBA logo, the playoff record (15-4) and the regular season record (58-24) of the Los Angeles Lakers, and the individual’s name.
